What this service is
The Biological Age Calculator is a free educational tool that produces an estimated biological age from information you choose to provide. It is intended for general interest and self-reflection.
Not medical advice
This is the most important term on this page.
The service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Results are estimates generated by a heuristic model and must not be used to make any medical decision.
Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any question about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
Accuracy
We make no warranty that any estimate is accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. The estimate depends on the quality of the information you provide and on a model that is explicitly a heuristic rather than a validated clinical instrument.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload a photograph of anyone who has not agreed to it;
- upload unlawful, harmful or offensive material;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure;
- use automated means to access the service at a scale that degrades it for others;
- present results as a medical assessment of any person.
Your content
You retain all rights to any photograph you upload. You grant us permission to process it for the sole purpose of generating your estimate. As described in the Privacy Policy, it is discarded immediately after processing and is never retained.
Availability
The service is provided free of charge and on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this service or any estimate it produces. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Intellectual property
The website, its content and its underlying software remain the property of the project and its contributors, except for content you provide.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the product develops. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
